Bill Fiorella
Multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sound artist, Bill Fiorella has spent the last 30 years honing his craft. Originally from The Bronx, NY, he attended the New School For Jazz And Contemporary Music from 1993-1997, where he studied guitar, performance, composition & arranging with Arnie Lawrence, Reggie Workman, Maria Schneider, Jim Hall, and Benny Powell. He played professionally on the New York scene as a side man and studio player, and fronted his own avant-garde jazz orchestra, “The Magical Orchestra Of Truth”, best known for its year long residency at CBGB’s Gallery in 1997. He has been the accompanist for Juliet Hanlon, Carla Hall, and Megan Anna Van Dusen, playing clubs such as The Bottom Line, The Knitting Factory, CBGB’s, South Paw, and Sonny’s Bar.
Bill currently lives in the driftless region of south western Wisconsin where he is active both recording and performing.
